Why hello there!
This here is my humble attempt at my first portfolio as a Game Developer! You'll find some of the past projects I have worked on that I was able to "retrieve", as well as some sample code of mine, and get to know me a little more as a human, employee, and proud gamer!
This portfolio shall grow as my experience grows. I'm always ready and excited to learn more, as well as share as much of my knowledge as possible. Feel free to contact me for any and all questions, of if you wanna just talk about Kingdom Hearts and Spiderman, I'm game!
I've had a lot of exposure to team/collaborative settings big and small. I've dealt with many extremely different types of people. I've learned how to be a diplomat, a leader, and a follower as well as take criticism while always striving to improve, not to mention I know how lighten the mood which always is helpful with 80 hour work weeks.
Clash is a 4 player fighter where you and your friends get together and battle for supremacy and bragging rights! Utilizing weapon focused combat, deadly environments, and the Clash mechanic, where if two attacks collide they trigger a sequence based mini-game where the victor walks away with a jackpot of points and the losers tears. (be sure to ask me about the dev cycle of this game, its quite a story...)
This is some of the hit reaction/attack logic in my final project "Clash: SAE" I know it doesn't show off much and there is a commented line left in which I'm aware of isn't really something that should be shown or be, but in lew of previous code snippets I had that were not recoverable, I'm showing at least this to hopefully start dialogue on the matter. On a side project I once had, I proceduraly made a tile board for the project that could be scaled up or down in dimensions.
